Grant application

** NOTICE - July 2, 2010 ** The grant application is now working. If you prefer to complete a draft offline, download the [attached RTF file], which contains the grant application questions. Note that the next Stage 1 application deadline is Friday, September 10.
Welcome to our online application form. The Real Estate Foundation of BC aims to be a pivotal connection in making land use knowledge and practice in BC a model for the world, aligning resources and leading learning relating to sustainable land use practices. The Foundation will give preference to projects that support our mission by demonstrating:
- Innovation and leadership
- Partnership and collaboration
- Sustainability/longevity
- Scalability/replicability
Process
We now have one form for both stages of our grant application process. Here is what you need to do:
- Create a grant application in as much detail as you can (this used to be the Letter of Inquiry stage). Submit it by the deadline indicated below. It will be considered by the Real Estate Foundation staff review committee.
- If Foundation staff advises you that the Board of Governors will consider your project for a grant, you may go back into your grant application (i.e. edit it to update the application with new information and more detail) and resubmit it by the new, later date given to you by Foundation staff.
Real Estate Foundation staff are available by telephone and email to answer your questions throughout the grant application process.
Letters of Support
If your organization is invited to submit an application for review by the Board of Governors (stage 2), you must provide two current letters of support. They must be from organizations other than your own which can vouch for your capacity and ability to complete the project for which you are applying to the Foundation for funding. There is an upload function at the end of the application form so you can submit them electronically.
Stage 1 Deadlines
- September 10, 2010 (for December grants meeting)
Applications must be received by midnight of the deadline to be eligible for consideration in that funding cycle.
